Helping Women Uncover the Root Cause of Their Health Concerns

My healthcare career began in 2009 as a registered nurse, where I spent five years caring for critically ill patients in the ICU and cardiovascular ICU. Those years gave me a strong foundation in conventional medicine and a deep appreciation for the role it plays when patients need it most.

In 2014, I became a nurse practitioner and transitioned into primary care. Working with patients outside of the hospital gave me a different perspective on health. I began seeing the same concerns again and again—fatigue, hormone symptoms, digestive issues, weight changes, and other persistent problems that didn’t always fit neatly into a diagnosis or improve with a standard treatment approach.

Around the same time, my own health challenges led me to start asking different questions. I wanted to understand not only what was happening, but why.

That curiosity eventually led me to functional medicine. I was drawn to its whole-person approach and its focus on looking for connections among nutrition, lifestyle, hormones, metabolic health, gut health, environmental factors, and a patient’s individual history. I pursued advanced training through The Institute for Functional Medicine and became certified in functional medicine in 2019.

Since then, I’ve continued to combine my conventional medical training and primary care experience with a functional medicine approach to help women better understand complex and often interconnected health concerns. My approach is personalized and evidence-informed, with the goal of identifying patterns, addressing contributing factors, and giving you a clearer understanding of your health.

My Philosophy

I believe that:

Your symptoms are signals.

Your body is resilient.

You deserve a personalized approach.

Instead of covering them up, we dig deeper to find the root cause.

With the right care, it can heal and restore balance.

No one-size-fits-all treatments—your plan is designed for your unique needs.
